Is this a free class?

Yes! Cosmo Coding is a nonprofit and all of our classes are completely free!

Where is the class?

All of our classes are completely virtual through zoom, meaning anyone from anywhere in the world can join!

How do I sign up?

To sign up for our classes, go to the lessons tab on this website, read all the descriptions and find what class works best for you, press on the sign up button for the class you want to join, fill out the google form and you're all signed up!

What online platform is used to learn how to code?

We use replit.com and Scratch as our platforms to teach students how to code, both platforms are free and students will be able to save their work on there.

What equipment is needed for the class?

Any device with google chrome (mac, windows, chromebook, etc) can be used since both of our platforms are accessible websites.

Are there makeup classes?

All the information learned and the projects worked on in class are posted on google classroom. If you miss a class, please refer to google classroom and email your instructor with any questions.

Is there homework assigned?

There is no assigned homework, but students are encouraged to add onto their projects and continue coding throughout the week. If the student has questions about their code during the week, they can email their instructor for answers.

What is the time commitment for the courses?

Each class is 4-6 weeks long. The classes are once a week for an hour.
